INTERIM ARMORED VEHICLE MUST BE FREE OF ODCS, ARMY SAYS

The Army is requiring that all of its upcoming interim armored vehicles be free of ozone depleting chemicals (ODCs) in their fire suppression systems, effectively preserving DOD's ODC reserve for other weapons systems dependent on the chemicals through 2030, according to an informed source.
