EPA has unveiled its sweeping rule limiting emissions of the solvent ethylene oxide (EtO) and the synthetic rubber component chloroprene, along with other air toxics, from hundreds of organic chemical and polymer manufacturing plants, largely finalizing the rule as proposed, but adding additional time for industry to install fenceline air monitors.
