Amid Criticisms, Senate Appropriators Quietly Back EPA’s PFAS Policies

Senate appropriators are quietly supporting much of EPA’s PFAS agenda, praising recently issued drinking water and Superfund rules, as well as the agency’s disposal guidance, while also calling for further research on the impacts of PFAS discharges and urging officials to report on its budget plans for fiscal year 2026.
