Facing ‘Stretched’ RCRA Funding, State Officials Seek Alternate Sources

State and federal officials say funding and resources for EPA’s Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste management program have failed to keep pace with increasing demands, placing an ever-growing burden on state programs and their leaders to seek other sources of money.
