UTILITY MACT GROUP LEADER SEEKS ANALYSIS OF EMISSIONS PROPOSALS

The co-chairman of a stakeholder group advising EPA on the pending utility mercury rule is reiterating a long-pending request for EPA to evaluate different emissions standards floated during the group's deliberations. Working group co-chair John Paul aired his concerns in a Nov. 3 letter to EPA air chief Jeffrey Holmstead, which says, "I request that EPA conduct the requested [analyses] and provide the result to the working group for discussion."
