OMB, NASA Push Academy Review Of EPA Trichloroethylene Assessment

The White House and other federal agencies are urging EPA to submit its new draft risk assessment of the ubiquitous solvent trichloroethylene (TCE) for review by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), a move that could further slow the assessment already long-delayed by interagency disagreement about the chemical's risks.
