SERDP SOLICITING PROPOSALS FOR PERCHLORATE AND EXPLOSIVES IN SOIL

The Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) announced earlier this month that it is soliciting proposals from researchers on two areas of cleanup concern for the Defense Department. The May 8 special solicitations seek to examine the effects of ammonium perchlorate on fish, amphibians and small rodents, and also to gain more knowledge on the impact of explosives-related soil contaminants on ecological receptors.
