An article in the Dec. 18, 2006, issue of Superfund Report , "Industry To Seek Broader Oil Spill Exemptions After EPA Relaxes Rule," and a story in the Jan. 1, 2007, issue, "EPA Cites Oil Spill Rule's Lack Of Application To Block Challenge," incorrectly stated the final spill prevention, control and countermeasure (SPCC) rule exempts industry sectors that use animal fats and vegetable oils (AF/VO) from the spill plan requirements.
