EPA PROPOSES FIRST CLEANUP PRIVATIZATION ACCORD AT FEDERAL FACILITY

Under an accord with California regulators and a local land reuse authority at Fort Ord, CA, EPA is expected to soon finalize the first privatization cleanup agreement in the country governing a federal facility listed on Superfund's National Priorities List (NPL), EPA Region IX sources say.
