HOUSE LIMITS EXPANSION OF BROWNFIELDS GRANT ELIGIBILITY TO ONE YEAR

House appropriators have rejected efforts by the Senate to permanently expand the definition of who is eligible to receive brownfields grant money by limiting the revision to only one year in the omnibus spending measure awaiting Senate passage, according to EPA, congressional and local government officials.
