INDUSTRY, MUNICIPALITIES URGE HIGH COURT TO REVIEW POST-AVIALL ISSUE

ISSUE A coalition of industry groups and local governments is encouraging the Supreme Court to review an alternative approach for liable parties to recover cleanup costs from other polluters, arguing the high court's failure to do so would slow the cleanup and redevelopment of thousands of contaminated sites contrary to the objectives of federal Superfund law.
