Broad Coalition Urges DOE To Quickly Adopt Air Cleaner Efficiency Rules

A coalition including appliance manufacturers and efficiency advocates is urging the Department of Energy (DOE) to quickly issue first-ever standards for residential air cleaners, submitting a proposed test procedure and energy conservation standard the groups hope will avoid piecemeal state-by-state regulation.
