DOE Presses Ahead With Tougher Efficiency Standards For Key Sectors

The Department of Energy (DOE) is pressing ahead with stronger energy efficiency standards for an array of commercial and residential equipment categories, including rules for electric motors and dishwashers that would spur relatively large levels of energy savings and related carbon emissions cuts.
