EIP Wins Cancellation Of ‘Zombie’ Permits For Four Large GHG Projects

The Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) has persuaded several states to cancel what it calls “zombie” construction permits for four large new greenhouse gas-emitting petrochemical projects, part of the group’s ongoing push to force the loss of a permit when holders fail to “commence construction” within Clean Air Act timeframes.
