FERC Floats Proposal To Boost Planning For Lower-Carbon Power Grid

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is floating a long-awaited proposal to update planning and cost allocation rules for major power transmission projects in an effort to anticipate and enable the ongoing market shift towards zero-carbon renewable energy and shore up the resilience of the power grid.
