Natural Gas Groups Launch Lawsuit Over DOE Furnace Efficiency Rule

Natural gas trade associations and an appliance manufacturer are launching suit over the Department of Energy’s (DOE) efficiency standards for consumer furnaces, the second of two cases testing industry’s argument that DOE cannot legally phase out less-efficient “non-condensing” appliances.
