EPA Names Vinyl Chloride In List Of Five Chemicals For TSCA Prioritization

EPA has named vinyl chloride, a key component in many common plastics, and four other substances that it will consider prioritizing under TSCA in the coming year, saying it “expects” to determine that all five are “high-priority,” which would trigger mandatory evaluations and then rulemakings for each of them.
