EPA Urged To Expand Methylene Chloride Limits As Narrow Ban Adopted

As EPA’s ban on consumer uses of paint strippers containing methylene chloride (MC) takes effect, former officials and environmentalists are urging the agency to quickly adopt a host of emergency limits on other uses of the substance, citing EPA’s recent draft assessment that found many other uses pose “unreasonable risks” that must be addressed.
