Newsom Enacts Ban On PFAS In Firefighting Foam, New Reporting

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has signed legislation banning firefighting foam from containing per- and polyfluroalkyl substances (PFAS) beginning in 2022, joining Colorado, New Hampshire, New York and Washington in similar bans.
