A new report by Sierra Club, Rainforest Action Network (RAN) and other groups finds that global banks including major U.S. lending institutions have expanded fossil fuel company financing by $2.7 trillion in the years since the signing of the December 2015 Paris climate pact, investments that they say are driving the plant “toward climate disaster.”
