DOJ Urges Justices To Block Climate Suits, Citing Constitution, Air Law

The Trump administration is urging the Supreme Court in a new filing to block state and local governments’ suits against the oil industry over climate damages, reiterating arguments that such suits are barred by the Constitution and EPA’s regulatory authority under the Clean Air Act.
