House Transportation Budget Bill Targets Rail, Aviation, Vehicle GHGs

Democrats on the House transportation committee are pushing budget reconciliation legislation that would seek greenhouse gas cuts from rail and aviation, including implementing a carbon offsets program for international flights, establishing a GHG performance standard for highway funds and promoting greater use of mass transit.
